Candace Faber

Founder at Whoa Strategies
Neighborhood: Phinney Ridge

I've been a member of Impact Hub Seattle since 2013. In that time, I've designed, launched, and led several projects, including Hack to End Homelessness, Impact On Air, and Hack the Commute. My work is a hybrid of strategy, communications/branding, and project management, as I typically work in collaboration with my clients to execute projects from beginning to end. I've also done pure strategy work for foundations, non-profits, and startups. I studied political science & Slavic languages at the University of Washington and have a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Before returning to Seattle, I was a diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service and worked in Afghanistan, Belarus, Russia, Poland, and Washington, DC. My projects have been featured in outlets such as Geekwire, Puget Sound Business Journal, NPR, KUOW, KIRO, KOMO, the Washington Post, Seattle Magazine, and Fast Company.
