Corey Rawdon

Founder and Managing Director at Sans The Tie
Neighborhood: Mount Baker

Corey believes that there are few business problems that cannot be solved over a cuppa — preferably Earl Grey — followed by some good ole-fashioned whiteboarding. After getting his first career jumpstart while working in tech, Corey moved forward to hone his skills by working in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, advertising, and lastly management consulting— where he was most recently a leader in Deloitte's Salesforce Practice. Building on a closely held belief from his days as a Six Sigma practitioner that processes, and the people who run them, are of keen importance to success; Corey works closely with our clients to develop a deep understanding of their processes — both how they work today and how they should work — while helping to build out a Salesforce org or develop an implementation strategy. Oftentimes this results in what we affectionally refer to as someone "being on the island" and then Corey gets to do what he really loves — grab a marker, move to a whiteboard, and take a deep dive into a process discussion. Corey holds the Salesforce.com Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator, Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, and Certified Service Cloud Consultant credentials as well as certificates in Six Sigma. When not working on a client engagement, sketching out a new product idea, or working on his next book, you'll find Corey and his husband Noah on the sailboat exploring the beauty of Puget Sound or hiking one of the nearby mountain ranges — often with their dog, Grayson, in tow!
