I'm in the coffee roasting business. I help retailers make and sell great coffee. Retailers such as café operators, baristas, chefs, specialty grocers, hotels, food service operators, and distributors. As a business partner in Fidalgo Bay Coffee Roasters, I serve the company and its customers by leading our sales department of customer facing team members who serve our customers. I’ve been in sales management in specialty roasting since 1996. My background is in food and beverage as a chef when I started The Maltby Café and made the mistake of baking cinnamon rolls too large. I went on to consult with chefs as a food service specialist at US Foods, then as Sales Manager with Tony’s Coffee where I helped launch fair trade certified coffee in the Pacific Northwest. At Fidalgo Coffee, it’s my pleasure working with a great team where we have customer partnerships with some of the greatest F&B operators in America like PCC Natural Markets, The Summit at Snoqulamie, Sheraton New Orleans, JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando, Pura Vida Coffee, Walton Beverage Distributors, Pot O’ Gold Coffee, R&K Foods, and Whole Foods Markets.
